A little visitor checking out Melissa's beautiful salt water reef tank.

Melissa has both a salt water reef tank and afresh water pond tank (with frogs and newts). Here are a couple shots from Meliss's salt water tank for you. Melissa also has 5 aquatic dwarf frogs and 6 floating frogs - they get along great with her 3 newts and variety of other fish (including 6 corries, a handfull of neons and white clouds, a clown loach, a horseface loach, and a few other things.

Three floating frogs on a log in Melissa's tank.
Melissa tells us:
"They blend in really well - look hard - there are two on the log and one in the water!"

Here is her lawnmower blenny.

Here are two brittle (aka serpent) stars.

One of Melissa's newts (his name is Ridley)
is climbing (somewhere!) over the shelf in her fantastic pond tank!

 Newtil, Red and Spot

Newtil and Red are firebelly newts and are dark colored with firey red bellies. Spot is a paddle-tailed newt. He has slightly lighter colored skin and orange spots on his belly. He also has a different shape.. his tail is bumpier like a dragon and his head is flatter looking. His eyes are different too, more reptilian looking.

Here's Melissa's tank setup. (Doesn't it look great!)
