100th Day of School

Wow, did we ever have a fun time on the 100th Day of School. The children did activities about "100" all day long... like count to 100, draw themselves at 100 years old, write down what they would buy for $100, count up how many times they could say their names in 100 seconds, find out how far 100 children would stretch if they stood fingertip to fingertip... and ... more!

We also had a Guesstimation Stations activity where the children had to do lots of guessing and figuring out stuff about "100". Then they had to count 100 candies, and cereal, and crackers, and raisins, and marshmallows, and jujubes, and smarties, and popcorn, and... well I forget the rest because the BEST part was EATING the 100 day snack! Here I am with my paws in the goodies!

The children made some really wonderful displays for 100 day. Here are some of them.

Soon after 100 Day, it was Valentine's Day! The class made a "Valentine's Day Pocket Garden" to hold all their valentines. Can you see me hiding in the leaves at the bottom? Of course we had another party with even more delicious things to eat. The Canadian children sure do like to celebrate!

Now I don't want you to think that I haven't been doing any lessons! I have been working really hard learning to tell time. I also have been learning to do some different dances too. I had to learn all sorts of tricky steps for the folk dance fest and here I am learning some fancy ballet steps too! Maybe Disney will want to make a movie of me!
