Terry Fox, a local Port Coquitlam youth, did not set out to become a hero,

but Terry has touched the world with his determination to give hope to cancer patients.

The year 2020 marks the 40th anniversary of the Marathon of Hope.

My school, Nestor Elementary, along with schools right across Canada and now, the world,

is a proud participant of Terry's Marathon of Hope.
