| Yipes! That Chinese New Year's Dragon is a big one! Don't worry, he promised not to bite. We learned that Eastern Dragons are wise and benevolent, but that Western Dragons are fierce and cruel. |

| Here I am at the world famous Pacific Space Center (Vancouver Planetarium). I took a little time for a space flight of my own! We made our own space shuttles out of plastic pop bottles... wow! what a ride! |

| Starfish, Starfish, I wish for Starfish! We had a super time on our beach and forest field trip at Belcarra Park. I loved peeking through the dock boards at all the starfish, jellyfish, barnacles, and mussels. We even saw a bald eagle flying over the dock. I guess he wanted some fish for his supper! |
| I'm sure that Clifford, the Scholastic Books Big Red Dog, and his Kitty friend won't mind if their photos are on the Internet! We had a book fair at the school and the three of us had a great time looking through all the new books. |
